New Buffalo Michigan engagement photographer here! You don’t want to miss this beautiful session on the beach 🙂

Last summer, I photographed a beautiful proposal on New Buffalo Michigan Beach. Tyler reached out looking for a photographer to come to New Buffalo to photograph this special moment. I was so excited and nervous about this! I had never previously met Trevor or Lindsey, so I was going into this blind. Before the day came, we discussed details over the phone and he sent me photos of them so I could recognize them at the beach before the proposal, with enough time to capture it on camera. Before they arrived, I sat nervously waiting for them but then saw them pass by me (or.. at least I hoped and thought it was them!)

The proposal! I knew here I for sure had the right couple.. hahaha. I enjoyed photographing this proposal so much. I tried to stay far away so I wasn’t TOO obvious but got closer inch by inch

This was the moment Lindsey spotted me……“Who is THAT!?” 😆 I was cracking up! Who knew you’d be getting proposed to AND meeting a photographer who is photographing it in one day hahaha!

After the proposal and chatting for a bit, we turned this into a little mini engagement photo session! I love photographing couples so much. Especially on New Buffalo Michigan beach, and at sunset! I was not going to miss my opportunity to get some great photos of them. 🙂

Needless to say.. this proposal/engagement photoshoot was so special + was truly memorable to me! I loved every second. Being a photographer means getting to be a part of, and photograph so many special moments in others lives.
