I recently had the honor of photographing a beautiful baptism for two cousins, Leo and Rory, at the beautiful Log Chapel on campus. It was such a special day filled with family, tradition, and so many sweet, quiet moments.

A Beautiful Baptism at Notre Dame’s Log Chapel

The baptism took place at the Log Chapel at Notre Dame, one of the most historic and intimate locations on campus. There’s something so timeless about the wooden interior, soft lighting, and peaceful atmosphere. It truly feels like stepping into a moment that matters.

Leo and Rory’s families traveled in from Chicago to celebrate together, which made the day feel even more meaningful. Having both babies baptized side by side as cousins added such a unique and emotional touch to the entire experience.

Indoor Baptism Photos at Notre Dame

Because it was a very chilly day, we kept all of the photos indoors—and honestly, it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly.

When photographing a baptism at Notre Dame, indoor images can be just as beautiful and meaningful as outdoor ones. Some of my favorite moments to capture during a baptism include:
