I’m a wife, mama x3, and lifestyle photographer based in Northwest Indiana. Most days you’ll find me with a coffee in hand, chasing toddlers, editing in cozy clothes, or dreaming up my next creative shoot.
I specialize in capturing families, motherhood, love stories, and all the beautiful chaos in between. So, the real-life, giggle-filled, messy, magical moments you’ll want to hold onto forever. I’m all about photos that feel like you: honest, warm, and full of connection.
Whether we're laughing through a family session or documenting a milestone, I promise to show up with patience, heart, and a little bit of silliness (especially if it helps your kids smile). I can’t wait to tell your story.

If you’re searching for a Niles Michigan wedding photographer, this day is such a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t have to be big or complicated to be incredibly meaningful.
Brittany and Thomas chose to keep things simple, intentional, and focused on what mattered most.
Each other.

Their ceremony took place at the stunning Fernwood Botanical Garden in Niles, Michigan. Early spring hadn’t quite warmed up yet (it was definitely one of those chilly April days 😅), but honestly? You would never know from the way these two soaked in every moment.
They stood surrounded by nature, their closest people, and so much quiet joy. No distractions. No rush. Just the kind of ceremony that feels really present.

There’s something about smaller wedding days like this that always stands out to me.
Everything feels slower. More connected. More intentional.
Brittany and Thomas weren’t worried about timelines or pressure. They were just fully there with each other. And that always shows up in photos in the best way.

After the ceremony, we spent time exploring Fernwood for family photos and bride and groom portraits.
Even with the cooler weather, Brittany and Thomas were completely unfazed. We wandered through the garden paths, found the prettiest early spring blooms, and captured some of the sweetest, most relaxed moments between them.
The soft greens, the pops of yellow florals, and the quiet woodland feel made everything so romantic and timeless.

After portraits, everyone headed to Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant in Buchanan, Michigan for dinner.
This part of the day felt less like a “traditional wedding timeline” and more like a really meaningful gathering. Lots of laughter, conversation, and just enjoying being together.
One of my favorite moments from the evening was capturing Brittany and Thomas signing their wedding certificate. It was simple, quiet, and so meaningful. One of those moments that might feel small in real time, but ends up meaning everything later.

This day was actually just part one of their wedding celebration.
They chose to split their wedding into two days. An intimate ceremony followed by a larger celebration the next day in South Bend. And honestly? It worked so beautifully.
They got the best of both worlds:

If you’re on the fence about booking your photographer, hearing from past couples always helps. Brittany left the sweetest review, and I’m so thankful:
“Chaeney did the photos for my wedding and she was so great! She took a look at my pinterest board and perfectly recreated them of us. Definitely book her!!” -Brittany Jurek (left using Google)
