I’m a wife, mama x3, and lifestyle photographer based in Northwest Indiana. Most days you’ll find me with a coffee in hand, chasing toddlers, editing in cozy clothes, or dreaming up my next creative shoot.
I specialize in capturing families, motherhood, love stories, and all the beautiful chaos in between. So, the real-life, giggle-filled, messy, magical moments you’ll want to hold onto forever. I’m all about photos that feel like you: honest, warm, and full of connection.
Whether we're laughing through a family session or documenting a milestone, I promise to show up with patience, heart, and a little bit of silliness (especially if it helps your kids smile). I can’t wait to tell your story.

If you’re searching for an Elkhart family photographer, chances are one of your biggest questions is: what should we wear?!
I get it! This is easily one of the most stressful parts of planning your session. But the good news? It doesn’t have to be complicated 🤍
After photographing families for years, I’ve learned that the best outfits are the ones that feel natural, comfortable, and reflect your family’s personality—while still photographing beautifully.

This is always my #1 tip as an Elkhart family photographer.
Find something you feel confident and comfortable in first, and then build everyone else’s outfits around that.
Flowy dresses, soft textures, and neutral tones photograph beautifully and add movement to your images (especially for outdoor sessions in places like Cobus Creek County Park or Ox Bow Park).
Once mom’s outfit is set, coordinating the rest of the family becomes so much easier.

Gone are the days of everyone wearing the exact same white shirt and jeans 😉
Instead, think of your outfits as a color palette.
Choose 2–4 colors and mix them throughout everyone’s outfits. Neutrals like cream, tan, soft gray, and muted earth tones always photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection, not your clothing.
As an Elkhart family photographer, I always recommend avoiding super bright neon colors or busy patterns, as they can distract from your photos.

Your outfits should make sense for the environment you’re in.
For example:
If you’re planning your session at a local spot like Wellfield Botanic Gardens, lighter tones and softer colors photograph beautifully against all the greenery and florals.

This is a big one, especially for toddlers and young kids.
If something feels itchy, too tight, or just not “them,” it will show in your photos.
As a mom myself, I always tell families: happy kids = better photos.
Stick with outfits your kids can move, play, and be themselves in. This allows me to capture those real, candid moments your family will love most.

Texture adds so much depth to your images without overwhelming them.
Think:
Layers (like cardigans, hats, or jackets) also give you variety without needing a full outfit change.
As your go-to Elkhart family photographer, here are a few things I recommend skipping:
Simple is always better, and timeless.
